Presented by Mandel Canter (Term 3)
This was my introductory exploratory approach to level design through shapes, visual effects, and pathing. I wanted to create multiple spaces which felt like each beat offered a new refreshing challenge. Through ideation, experimentation, and research I was able to create something I am proud of for a first real 3d level. Even if it is a gray box.
This is a project from our Level Design 1 class taught by Erich Meyr and Zachary Adams.
An overview of the different components used to create levels (obstacles, triggers, rewards, etc.). Students will create levels for multiple genres of games.
